I Taught various design classes at the Art Institute of Seattle for 17 years. For the last three years,
I developed an art curriculum and facilitated classes for homeless women in Seattle at Noel House Shelter. I am available to teach classes and conduct workshops in a variety of mediums for diverse audiences in the greater Seattle Area. I focus on basic skills as well as unlocking creative expression. Here are some ideas:
Basic Design and Composition (Mother Nature did it first!)
Basic drawing (Drawing is about seeing! Everyone can Draw!)
3-d design (Learn to enter, visualize and construct the 3rd dimension!)
Collage and mixed media (Discover the patterns & textures in your life!)
Abstract Water media (Unleash the wild side!)
Found Objects Assemblage (Perfect for pack rats!)
Altered Books (Write on the pages and bend, fold, staple & mutilate!Re-create!)
I will be happy to create a class or workshop for your school or organization, to meet your specific needs.
You can contact me through the "contact the artist" page on this website.
